what i wore: black on white

angora cardigan//thrifted; dress//ASOS; shoes//brought from Moscow

It's time to get furry and cozy, pulling on a soft sweater and walking in the falling snow! I wore my new ASOS dress -- it's made of a stretch fabric, and I love its textured front panel and its heart-shaped trim!  I think it's perfect for a dinner date as well as a New Year's party. It's a little black dress after all :-) 

I've had a hard time this winter finding the right sweater. I got this black cardigan in a thrift store recently, I liked how furry it was and the embellished flowers on the front, but it's made of wool and it's pretty itchy on my arms. It's a good cardigan, but I'm still looking for something warm I could wear over a collared shirt or as a chunky knitted piece with jeans. I'd prefer it to be gray or black, and thick. Unfortunately, most of the sweaters I see online or in the local stores haven't really been what I'm looking for, most of them have been either too short or too thin.
