As you might know, Ben and I don't really watch normal TV, we don't own one and don't see a reason to buy it. But there are a few shows that we watch on the Internet from time to time. One of our favorites is The Apprentice starring Donald Trump. It's a business show where teams get to accomplish a different business task every week. The past few seasons have been "The Celebrity Apprentice," and while I like these less than the ones with the regular people (I don't care much about the celebrities and I don't know most of them anyways), but all the money they win go to their charities. This is how I learnt about the many great causes out there and what people do to help others.
The first time I heard about Operation Smile was through The Apprentice, too. Donald Trump, Jr. (who works on the show with his dad and other siblings) has served on Operation Smile’s Board of Directors since 2007. When I got an email from CampusBookRentals.com asking me to write about their partnership with Operation Smile I was very happy to participate and spread the word.

UGh I LOVE this cause, I feel like so few people actually know about it or understand what it's all about. I knew about it because my teacher in grade 5 had been born with a cleft lip, so I had been introduced to the cause way back when.
