Our first July weekend was wonderful! We spontaneously went to visit our friends who just bought a house in the countyside next to our garden, we arrived after midnight (Moscow traffic jams are not fun), watched the stars, ate pickles and the men practiced blowing the air mattreses with their lungs (a big surprise: the new house doesn't have electricity for an electrical pump!). Now on a kithcen wall we have ridiculously great polaroids of people kissing huge air mattreses :-)
Sunday morning it was hot! We wore funny hats, ate some sugar peas from our garden, picked wild strawberries in the forest, sprinkled each other with freezing water from a well and Ben gave me piggy back rides and carried me around!
