Some more sunshine into your week! Bake and enjoy!
We need:
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 150 ml freshly squeezed orange juice
- 200 g caster sugar
- grated rind of 1 orange
- 5 large eggs, beaten
1. Preheat oven to 180°C.
2. Add the cornflour in the juice, then mix in the sugar, orange rind and beaten eggs. Combine well.
3. Grease and line a 20x30 cm baking tray, also grease and sprinkle with sugar the liner.
4. Pour the torta mixture onto the tray and bake for 15-20 minutes until the torta is firm and has a rich colour.
5. Turn onto a clean cloth, sprinkled with sugar. Trim edges and roll up carefully, using the cloth.
6. Place in a sugared serving dish and, when cold, sprinkle with sugar.
7. Serve cut into slices.
