we bought a couch!

We sleep like normal people now, above the floor. We've spent a whole month camping on the floor in our new house.  It was even fun at first. But now we have a huge brown couch which transforms a more than comfy bed! It was quite an adventure to get it: we saw an ad on Craigslist that someone was selling a new couch. Have you ever bought anything from Craigslist? I've never done  it before. But in our small town there aren't too many stores to browse for cheap clothing. The people from the ad bought this couch before Christmas for visiting relatives, but the visit never happened and now they are moving to another town so they couldn't take this big piece of furniture with them. Score! 

The couch-bed is all new, the mattress is even still covered in plastic, never unwrapped. We emailed back and forth for a few days and finally went on a trip up north to look at the couch. The road was through a forest and up a small hill and our little car just couldn't make it.  We parked it and continued on our feet. The sellers didn't pick up their phone and we'd never talked to them before, so we almost turned back at some point because our wild imagination prepared us for some mystery criminal scenario at the end of the road. I'm glad we didn't turn back though. The couch looked great, the people were nice (when we found them), and we came back the next day with a bigger car and got our new bed. Last night we had the best night sleep since we moved here. The end :-) Oh, yes, and I'll take some couch photos later in better light!

PS: Sonya bunny chewed the power cord of my laptop the other day, Ben ordered a new one but till it comes here I'm locked out of all my photos and files! What a crazy week.
