A suspicious potato head package

Have you ever received anything very weird by mail? Yesterday at lunch I heard a noise on the porch and when I walked out I saw a package at the door. Nothing strange, really, but I wasn't expecting any packages. I looked at the address (a random company) and it said "Do not return" plus my full name, Ben's parent's home address and their phone number (I mean, I don't usually give anyone my full name and I never give anyone Ben's parent's home phone number, I have a cell phone!), so it was odd, but I figured maybe it was something I had forgotten about or at least opening it might explain who sent it. So we opened it to find...  Mr. Potato Head.

Ben knew it was Mr. Potato Head, but coming from Russia (and having never seen "Toy Story") I'd never heard of it. There was no note or card, or sender's address, or anything else, so at this point it was a little creepy. It had a tracking number and it came from Minneapolis through some packaging company, we tried calling them but it was too late in the East for anyone to be at the office.

Ben said he read about people hiding drugs in these toys before, so today a police officer came to look at it and told me it's just a Potato Head, and asked if I ordered it for my kids... hahaha yep, the problem is I have no kids, never heard of this super famous toy and it is creepy. But I feel better now, after the officer checked it out, and I guess now I have a free Mr. Potato Head and a funny story to laugh about. Still no clue how it got here. Keeping the toy in the corner of the furthest room from me just in case.

(picture via Google, I don't feel like getting this creeper out of the box for a photo)

This is a little scary; I'm glad it ended up being a regular toy...but they knew your husband's parents' contact information?

Very strange indeed. o_O I recieved a strange package today too! It wasn't something I'd ordered, so I was a bit puzzled. It was paper boxes shaped like cats (really cute!), which my best friend had written a blog entry about a while back... It turned out that it was indeed her that sent it! I've been going through some rough times as of late, so it was incredibly sweet to cheer me up like that. :3

Oh my goodness, that is really, really REALLY creepy that you didn't order it and you have no idea where it came from. I've also never thought of people hiding drugs in him...ummmm wow!
