Lomography Monday: Golden Half from Russia

Today's post is dedicated to my favorite toy camera Golden Half and to the scenes from last spring in Moscow. I developed this roll when I was already in the US. These photos are my treasure. And there are actually some more photos but it'd be just too much for this post. I look through them from time to time and think of those little spring-flowery-sunny moments that we had back in Russia. I miss my bunny, our sushi dates, Russian fields and flowers, my parent's garden, my lovely cat and a farmer's market near our house.

The biggest news are... I'm going to Moscow at the end of September! It's so exciting! I only wish Ben could go with me.. It's very strange to be apart again. We'll have long skype dates every night like before and will do From far away series on the blog. It wouldn't be too long though, only three weeks. It'll be fun! And I'll take Golden Half with me and bring more film rolls back to Sandpoint.

PS: All of these were cut in half at the photo lab. So I had to stitch them together in Photoshop - hence a fake Golden Half line in the middle :-)

  4. Such beautiful flowers; very pretty and very colorful! I just want to climb into the photo and run through the fields and grasses myself, twirl around in circles while wearing a long dress.

I'm familiar with long distance Skype dates myself, so I know the feeling. The time will pass by quickly, though, especially if you are in a place you love.
