Last weekend we went to a corn maze! As I already mentioned it here I'm thrilled about fall holidays in the US and I want to do as many related things as possible: decorate the house, eat a pumpkin pie (or two), carve a pumpkin (of course!), treat kids with candy, etc. I really wanted to go to a pumpkin patch because I wanted to see lots of pumpkins in one place (not in a grocery store), take pictures with them and grab a pumpkin or two to take home. When I told Ben about it he said that we could also go to a corn maze. I've never heard of it and I was a bit skeptical if it would be as fun as a pumpkin patch.
On the weekend I had a hard time finding a pumpkin farm near us that allows visitors any time of a day but I found something called Incredible Corn Maze - and we all hopped in the car and went down there. This place had both a corn maze and a pumpkin field! They even had helicopter rides for only $20! It was a first time for everybody, but now we know how much fun a corn maze is: you get a map with different labyrinths on it and you have to make your way through the corn field, finding the check points and marking your map on each one of them. It's also open after sunset! People come with flash lights and glow sticks and go through the labyrinths in the darkness... boo! That'd be too much fun for me, though. I don't really like haunted houses. :-)

Oh yeah, and we got some cotton candy. Just in case we got lost and hungry in the labyrinth.
