Mountain house.. it makes me think of a cozy cabin. I see wood, blankets, baskets, socks, hot chocolate.. and a fireplace of course! In this case I think a few photos are better than many words, here's what I'd love to have in my mountain house:

Lovely pictures. I have a fantasy that my husband and I can move to a cabin one day.
Couldn't love this styling any more! There is nothing better than a bit of wood, tartan and some wooly socks in winter! Makes the cold weather ALMOST worthwhile! Lovely blog btw!
